Roberto Ordorica – President – MEXROB Capital, LLC
Mr. Ordorica is President and CEO of MEXROB Capital, LLC and has more than 15 years of experience in real estate finance, investments and investment management. Prior to MEXROB Capital, Mr. Ordorica was the CEO of Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI) Latin America, the real estate investment and advisory business of Prudential Financial, which under his leadership sponsored eight funds, had an active presence in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Peru, and invested more than $8 billion in Latin America, between 2001 and 2012. Before joining PREI Latin America, Mr. Ordorica was the Senior Latin America Advisor and Head of the Latin America team in the Global Real Estate Investment Banking Group at JPMorgan. Mr. Ordorica holds a bachelor’s degree in Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a master in City Planning and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Raul Gallegos – Managing Director Asset Management – Credit Suisse
Mr. Gallegos joined the Asset Management group at Credit Suisse in 2016 to develop and lead a new Real Estate lending platform through the launch of a specialized fund (CBFI) focused on issuing loans for income producing properties. Prior to this, Mr. Gallegos was the President and CEO for GE in Mexico since July 2013, after spending 16 years in GE Capital. Mr. Gallegos began his career at Gar-Vel Industries, one of the largest mechanical contractors in Mexico, where he managed major construction projects across Mexico. Mr. Gallegos holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
Andres Conesa – Chief Executive Officer – Grupo Aeromexico
Mr. Conesa has served as CEO of Aeromexico since December 2005. Mr. Conesa has held several positions in the Mexican Public Administration, as Advisor to the Secretary of the Economic Cabinet of the Presidency, Chief Advisor to the Undersecretary of Finance and Public Credit, and Director General for International Financial Affairs in the Ministry of Finance. He served as Director General of Economic Policy at the Ministry of Finance and as Deputy Undersecretary for Public Credit from August 2003 to December 2004, when he was appointed Chairman of the Board of CINTRA, the holding company of Aeromexico and Mexicana. Mr. Conesa is also a member of the Board of Governors of IATA since 2008. Mr. Conesa holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM) in Mexico City and a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Emilio Mahuad – UBS – Country Head Mexico
Emilio Mahuad is the Country Head of Mexico and Head of Mexico Investment Banking. Mr. Mahuad joined UBS in December 2013 and is responsible for (i) performance and supervision of the different business areas in Mexico and (ii) the origination and execution of transactions in Mexico. He has led several landmark strategic and financing transactions in Mexico and Latin America, including equity and debt capital markets, the creation and implementation of several FIBRAs (REIT-like) as well as transformative M&A. His main coverage sectors are real estate, consumer and natural resources. Prior to UBS, Mr. Mahuad was a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Mexico where he spent ten years and previously held different positions with Bear Stearns & Co. in NYC and Citibanamex in Mexico City. Mr. Mahuad holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana (Valedictorian) and an MBA from Chicago Booth School of Business.
